The International Centre for Diarrheal Diseases Research (ICDDR,B) will soon be launching a national scale up of zinc for the treatment of childhood diarrhea. The scheduled launch date is 23 Nov., 2006. Tjhis represents the culminationn of a 3 year effort funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, under the title "Scaling Up Zinc for Young Children (SUZY) Project. This Project has supported 15 research investigations in suppoprt of scaling up zinc.
